Rooms and homes
- A 12 m² bedroom is 129.17 ft², roughly 10 × 13 ft.
- A 25 m² studio is 269.1 ft².
- A 150 m² family house is 1,614.59 ft².
Common mistakes
Multiplying by 3.28. That converts meters to feet, not square meters to square feet. For areas, the factor is 3.28084² = 10.7639.
Rounding to 10. It’s quick, but it underestimates by about 7%, which is a lot on a large floor.
For the reverse, use square feet to square meters.
